February Campout 2012

We set off right after school. After driving 20 minutes, we got there and set up tents. Then we set out our gear. We went inside and Group A started dinner (hamburgers) and desert (donuts).

We then ate, then watched the movie Miracle. After that it was 10:00, so we went to bed.  We woke up and put away gear. Then we ate Dutch Oven French toast and orange juice.  We played Life, then ate lunch of Jimmy John's. Then we left.

Klondike Derby 2012

The Klondike: We got there and guess what: we set up camp! Weate, then went to the campfire. It started to rain, and did through the night. We woke up, ate breakfast, and went to the events. Our best one was building a fire and cooking a egg on it then eating it. Wedid this in 3 min 6 secs.

            

After they were done, we went back to camp and had lunch. We then went to the awards. Overall we got 4^th, and they only had prizes through 1-3. WE also came in 3^rd in our wave in the sled race, and only 1 and 2 got to race in the final wave. But we won a Dutch Oven from the egg event, getting 1^st. We packed and left.
